Recruit from the Largest Pool of Qualified Concrete Applicants in the Nation!

The MTSU Concrete Industry Management Department has a large class of seniors ready to graduate May 5th, current students seeking summer internships, and several alumni seeking employment! 

Three ways to get this talent into your company...

1.  Host a social - CIM has always hosted company-sponsored dinners, or socials, for current CIM students.  We will invite as many students as you wish (25-50 students is typical) to hear a brief presentation about your company and opportunities that may be available.  Usually employers will return to the department the following day to conduct interviews with prospective candidates. Contact Nicole with your prospective dates to host a social this year.  

2.  Attend a networking event - New in Fall 2011, CIM hosted the first networking event for employers to meet with many students for little to no cost.  For $35, employers set-up a table and talked with students about the industry, their company, and opportunities.  Employer surveys from the first event indicate it was a success, even for companies that might not be actively seeking candidates.  This spring's event will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 1:00-4:00pm in the Tom Jackson Building on campus.  Click here to register or express interest in learning more about our networking events. 

3.  Post a job - Send your job descriptions to Nicole.Green@mtsu.edu to have them sent to candidates we know are seeking employment.  Be sure to include the best way for interested students/alumni to respond.  At least four companies who have sent jobs out have had such a great response, they ended up coming to campus to interview several candidates at once!
