NJIT CIM Plays Host to International Students

As part of an international exchange program between NJIT and Heritage Institute of Technology in Kolkata, India, we had the opportunity to work with two international exchange students this past summer. Under the supervision of Dr. Mahgoub, Satyam Mishra and Aupal Modal worked on ongoing research for testing fine contents in fine aggregates and soils and a new research interest in the optimization of modulus of elasticity of concrete through empirical blending of coarse aggregates. The combined efforts by everyone involved in the fine content testing research led Dr. Mahgoub to have a paper accepted by ASTM.
