TSU CIM Recruitment Event
CIM faculty member Dr. Jiong Hu attended a special recruitment event on February 26 at Lone Star College-Montgomery to promote the Department of Engineering Technology and CIM program. About 14,000 students are enrolled at LSC-Montgomery.

Recruitment Activities at TSU
TSU was busy this past spring with their recruiting activities. On April 12, they hosted the VIP Counselor Showcase in which eight high school counselors from the San Antonio area visted the TSU concrete laboratory to learn more about the CIM program. TSU also hosted Bobcat Day on April 16. At this event, more than 80 perspective students and parents visited the Department of Engineering Technology booth and learned about the CIM program and Texas State University.

The faculty at TSU has been extremely busy with various research and publication projects. The following is a sample of that work:
S. Lee, J. Hu, H. Kim, S. N. Amirkhanian, K. Jeong, "Aging Analysis of Rubberized Asphalt Binders and Mixes Using Gel Permeation Chromatography", Journal of Construction and Building Materials, has been accepted for publication.
J. Hu, K. Wang, J. A. Gaunt, "Design Concrete with Recycled Lead-Contaminated Deconstructed Masonry Materials as Aggregate", International Conference on Sustainable Urbanization (ICSU 2010), has been accepted for publication.
