NJIT Students Receive Pervious Concrete Certification

NJIT LogoWe are pleased to announce that during the first week in December, students in the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) received certification in pervious concrete.
The certification process included a morning lecture on the knowledge needed for contractors to manage the material, followed by a pouring of pervious concrete right on the NJIT campus. The pour, which was attended by many students not involved in the course, will be a future barbecue area and event space.  After the pervious concrete pavement was set, CIM participants took an examination to receive certification.

The program was sponsored by the PCA Northeast Cement Shippers Association.
